Ellie forms a necessary alliance with her new friend while buddy boy goes off to get medicine. They manage to get through a swarm of clickers, runners, and a bloater for good measure. It seems they form a good team, but while having a conversation on the day's events, her new friend reveals his true intentions.
The game follows Joel as he helps escort Ellie across the United States in a post-apocalyptic time. It begins with a zombie like outbreak that leads to the disaster.
